Genetics: Pure ’82 Durban x Lieu Hahn ‘Big Ho-Chi’ male (Hyp3rids)
Outdoor flowering: November
Hyp3rids:
’82 DURBAN IBL (originally worked by Ed Rosenthal):
“Our female selection for this cross was a pure 1982 Durban line with a 15-week flowering time. We mention this because it’s very rare these days. Most modern Durban’s go 9-10 weeks. Purity is virtually impossible to find, and the closest we’ve come to this particular line was ‘Afropips’ original Durban release.”
“Our selection was a large ‘stacked’ lady that expressed ultra-thin leaves and a fast-growing sativa structure. Final girl delivered a ‘laser beam’ electric high, full of energy and positivity. She has that classic Durban haze like aroma with plenty of aniseed to boot. Tastes pretty good too.”
LIEU HAHN IBL (originally created by Fett of Spice Brothers):
“Lieu Hanh is our first classic heirloom IBL release. Hundreds of Neville’s Haze f2s were grown out in an effort to show recessive parental traits. After careful selection and tasting we decided on very sativa-dominant side of Neville’s Haze that had a flowering time just short of 15 weeks and had the trippiest profound smoke quality with no paranoia or couch lock. Easy let down and no hangover”.”
“An extremely early-flowering Vietnamese male carrying an almost pure single cola shape growth was put over our specially-selected Neville’s Haze girl. The results have produced a sweet, piney/pepper-fruity aroma and when cured correctly brings out a lovely caramel hash-like taste when smoked. Not all offspring will bring this intense thick taste but they all carry slight undertones and all are very enjoyable.”
