Genetics:
ZACATECAS TRIBUTE (Green Mountain Seeds):
“This mostly Mexican cultivar was produced to try to capture the essence of some of the rarest Mexican cannabis strains on the planet. The once revered and thought to be extinct in pure form: purple Zacatecas Mexican sativa, which is clearly present in Big Sur Holy Weed genetic heritage, kept as an IBL. Big Sur Holy weed is legendary in her own right, and it was crossed in this hybrid with of one of the top ten rarest legendary Mexican strains: Green Mountain Seeds' exclusive Oaxacan Gold.”
ZACATECAS P2 x MICHOACAN (Snowhigh Seeds):
“The Zacatecas purple creates large green and purple plants, massive large and long colas that used to be the norm in the 80’s and further back in time. Killer uplifting smoke that’s energetic and happy and colorful. Great day and night weeds. The Zacatecas is a large upright-growing Mexican which can produce large colas of green and or purple in color. This is what was smuggled out of Zacatecas to save what was left. Is this the famous Zacatecas Purple I can’t confirm, only that it came from Zacatecas and it’s very nice and some phenos turn purple. The Michoacán male also bleeds purple sap and comes from a line which can sometimes bleed red and black as well as the purple. The Michoacán is a narrow leaf sativa which produces long colas. The Mexicans are happy, colorful, can be extremely potent, psychedelic. The Zacatecas is what grew there in the early 2000’s and the Michoacán is an old heirloom variety.”
Outdoor flowering: Early to mid October
