BLUE ORCA HAZE
Genetics: Coot's Blue Orca (1983 Brotherhood of Eternal Love breeding) pollinated with an F2 NL#5 x Neville's Haze male from 1991 (Swami Organic Seed)
Outdoor flowering: Mid to end of October
Swami Organic Seed:
“Breeders favorite, this is a nice fix for the old ratty NL#5/Neville’s Haze. Mellower and kinder on the nerves than the NLH, as well as potentially a bit more potent. Coot’s 71 Afghani x 76 Thai Stick ‘Blue Orca’ brings on the flavor adding a beefier pre-Soviet Kandahar indica and a top notch 70’s “dealer’s choice” Thaistick which meshes very nicely with the 1991 NL#5 x Neville’s Haze Swami F1 male from Coot. Slightly sweet to fruity, and sandalwood scents and expressions. Very potent and inebriating, often psychedelic, often introspective, some phenotypes have been found to be the best smoke many have ever had.”
KONA GOLD S1
Genetics: Hawaiian heirloom
During the 1960’s, tropical varieties of narrow-leafleted cannabis plants were brought to Hawaii from the Cardamom Hills of Kerala in South India, the highlands of Thailand and Cambodia, the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta mountains of Colombia, and the coastal ranges of Oaxaca in Mexico.
Their offspring thrived in Hawaii’s sunny climate and rich volcanic soil. One of the most successful of these underground breeding experiments resulted in Kona Gold, which came from the Kailua-Kona coast of the Big Island in the early 1970s.
The new cultivar soon developed a reputation as an energetic and euphoric “insight drug,” making it one of the most sought-after cannabis varieties in Hawaii and overseas.
Outdoor flowering: Mid to end of October
Highgrade Seeds:
“Direct from the big island of Hawaii comes this high octane landrace cannabis jet! Kona Gold seeds have been cultivated on the Kona side of the big island of Hawaii rich in volcanic soil and lush tropical surroundings and is more potent than the renowned Maui Wowie. Kona Gold is not only a heavy hitter but has an outstanding yield for a (mostly) sativa cannabis plant. Highly resinous and very aromatic. Easy to grow. High medicinal value. Hawaii's best marijuana strain!”
